Receta Easy Chili Con Carne

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 slice bacon finely minced
- 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 2 c. canned tomatoes with juice
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. chili pwdr diluted in 1/4 c. hot water
- 2 c. red kidney beans
Direcciones
- Heat oil in Dutch oven. Add in onion and bacon and saute/fry till golden. Add in grnd beef, stirring till meat has lost all redness. Pour in tomatoes, sugar, salt and diluted chili pwdr. Bring mix to a boil. Cover and simmer about 25 min. Add in kidney beans and simmer 15 min more. Add in some Texas Pete if prefer a hotter chili. Serve with crackers and Mary's cole slaw.
