Receta Easy Jelly Cookies

Ingredientes
- 2 c. flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3/4 c. soft butter
- 1 unbeaten egg
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Raspberry, peach or possibly grape jelly
Direcciones
- Sift together flour, sugar and baking pwdr. Blend in butter, egg and vanilla extract to create a dough. Place on lightly floured cloth or possibly board. Divide into 4 parts shape into a roll, 13 inches long and about 3/4 inch thick.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets, 4 inches apart and 2 inches from edge of sheet. Make a depression, lengthwise, down the center of each with a knife handle. Fill depression with jelly or possibly jam. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 or possibly 20 min till light golden. While hot, cut diagonally into bars. Cold on wire rack. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
