  • 1 lb grnd chuck
  • 1 c. soft breadcrumbs homemade, not hard store-bought kind
  • 1/2 med -sized onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. diced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. Heinz ketchup
  • 1 x egg salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all of the above ingredients together in a large bowl using your hands to get it all well incorporated. Form the mix into an oval-shaped, not too thick, loaf. Preferably set the loaf on a wire rack in a low-sided roasting pan so the grease falls to the bottom of pan and the loaf is not sitting in it.
  3. Bake for an hour, remove from oven, place loaf on cutting board to cold a bit before slicing (makes slicing less messy).
