Receta Extra Good Baking Powder Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 4 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 T sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Sift flour, baking pwdr, salt, sugar and cream of tartar into bowl. Add in shortening to flour mix and blend together till cornmeal like consistency. Pour lowfat milk into flour mix, add in egg and stir to stiff dough. Put out on lightly floured board and knead 5 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut and bake at 450 degrees for 15 min. Makes 12 biscuits.
