%20%20in%20the%20world%20along%20with%20some%20grilled%20asparagus%20(%20made%20even%20better%20in%20the%20amazing%20SAUCE!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFirst%20step%20is%20to%20let%20the%20steaks%20rest%20outside%20of%20the%20fridge%20for%2020%20or%20so%20minutes%20so%20you%20are%20not%20putting%20freezing%20cold%20steaks%20in%20the%20hot%20oil.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20both%20sides%20of%20the%20steaks%20with%20the%20salt,%20pepper,%20garlic,%20and%20whatever%20other%20seasonings%20sound%20good%20to%20you!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESecond%20step%20is%20to%20heat%20the%20two%20Tbls%20of%20Butter%20and%20Olive%20Oil%20together%20until%20melted%20and%20bubbly.%20%20Then%20place%20the%20steaks%20in%20the%20pan%20and%20let%20them%20Sear%20without%20moving%20for%203-4%20minutes%20on%20the%20first%20side%20so%20that%20a%20nice%20brown%20crust%20of%20flavor%20can%20develop!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20you%20flip%20them%20they%20should%20have%20some%20nice%20browning%20going%20on.%20%20I%20could%20probably%20have%20let%20these%20sear%20for%20one%20more%20minute.%20%20After%20it%20sears%20for%203-4%20minutes%20on%20the%20other%20side,%20put%20the%20entire%20pan%20in%20a%20374%20degree%20oven%20for%208-10%20minutes%20to%20finish%20cooking%20to%20a%20medium.%20%20I%20did%20a%20little%20slice%20into%20mine%20to%20make%20sure%20it%20was%20done%20enough%20for%20my%20liking%20as%20I%20am%20more%20of%20a%20medium%20well%20girl%20myself.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20it%20is%20in%20the%20oven,%20it%20turns%20into%20a%20delicious%20brown%20piece%20of%20meaty%20heaven!%20%20%20After%20taking%20it%20out%20of%20the%20oven,%20place%20the%20steaks%20on%20a%20plate%20and%20tent%20them%20with%20foil%20to%20let%20them%20rest%20and%20the%20juices%20redistribute.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETake%20the%20pan%20that%20the%20steaks%20were%20cooking%20in%20and%20place%20it%20back%20on%20the%20burner%20on%20medium%20heat.%20%20It%20will%20be%20coated%20in%20FLAVOR%20morsels%20and%20the%20remnants%20of%20the%20butter%20and%20olive%20oil%20with%20bits%20left%20by%20the%20steaks%20and%20seasonings!%20%20It%20is%20a%20beautiful%20thing,%20and%20the%20base%20of%20your%20Heavenly%20Sauce!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20pour%20in%20your%201%20Cup%20of%20Red%20Wine%20and%20let%20it%20simmer%20for%202%20minutes%20or%20so%20as%20the%20alcohol%20cooks%20out.%20%20It%20is%20now%20almost%20time%20to%20EAT!%20%20%20To%20finish%20the%20sauce,%20add%20in%20your%20last%20Tbls%20of%20butter%20and%20your%203%20Tbls%20of%20Heavy%20Cream.%20%20I%20forgot%20to%20take%20a%20picture%20of%20adding%20the%20cream%E2%80%A6I%20was%20getting%20too%20hungry!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20my%20recipes%20for%20Asparagus%20and%20%20Mashed%20Potatoes%20but%20thought%20I%20would%20show%20the%20plating%20that%20I%20did%20for%20the%20special%20occasion!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20you%20plate%20the%20steak,%20spoon%20as%20much%20of%20the%20delicious%20sauce%20over%20your%20steak%20as%20you%20want.%20%20In%20my%20case,%20I%20spooned%20it%20over%20my%20steak,%20over%20my%20potatoes%20and%20did%20not%20mind%20at%20all%20when%20the%20asparagus%20got%20sauced%E2%80%A6I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20care%20one%20little%20saucy%20bit!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20hope%20that%20you%20will%20try%20this%20recipe%20and%20let%20me%20know%20what%20you%20think.%20%20I%20would%20be%20lying%20if%20I%20said%20that%20I%20did%20not%20lick%20my%20plate%20clean%20at%20the%20end%20of%20this%20one.%20%20That%20is%20probably%20TMI,%20but%20the%20truth%20must%20come%20out!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Filet%20Mignoning!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
