Receta Fish Thokku | Spicy Shredded Fish Masala
Ingredientes
- Fish - 2 pieces (I used Barracuda; nearly 120 grams)
- Big onions - 2 (or) Shallots - 10
- Tomatoes - 3 (small, ripe, red ones)
- Green chillies - 1 long chilly
- Ginger - 1 inch long piece
- Garlic pods - 4
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon
- Curry leaves - From 3 sprigs
- Fennel seeds / Sombu - 1/4 teaspoon
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Vinegar - 2 teaspoons (or) Lemon juice - 2 tsps
- Salt - As per taste (app 1 tsp)
- Oil - 6 to 8 tablespoons (using 8 tbsps will give a nice texture to the masala)
