Receta Flaming Cherries Jubilee

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, at room temperature
- 1 c. Sugar
- 6 Tbsp. Kirshwasser liqueur
- 1/2 c. Fresh orange juice
- 1 1/2 lb Fresh sweet dark cherries, pitted
- 2 pt Vanilla ice cream, divided
Direcciones
- In a frypan, heat butter over moderate heat. Blend in sugar and stir over heat till sugar is caramelized and turns a light golden brown color. Add in Kirshwasser and ignite carefully. When flame is extinguished, add in orange juice, blending well. Add in cherries, stirring gently till cherries are heated through. Spoon ice cream into 3 sherbet dishes and ladle warm cherry sauce over each, dividing proportionately.
