- Since I'm single and and I do not like cooking in the summer heat here are a couple of quick "Venetian" recipes.
- Fresh "Cirio" Tomato & Basil Patsa Dressing
- Chop fresh tomatoes and fresh basil. Use as much as you like. You can use a little pressed garlic clove if desired, a healthy pinch of salt and 2 tbls. of extra virgin olive oil. Make up a 2 pound batch and keep it in the fridge.
- Use this to top pasta or possibly on a big slice of toasted whole grain bread.
- Sometimes I make tabuli (cracked wheat) and stir the tomatoes in which.
