This was a dish my dad would make for breakfast on Sundays. He would served this with Homemade biscuit and bacon. A tall glass of cold milk squence your thirst. Enjoy.

  • 8 Large Granny Smith Green Apples, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup of bacon drippings
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg

In a skillet over medium heat, pour bacon drippings with sugar.

Add the apples, cinamon and nutmeg.
3.
Cook apples over medium heat until apples begain to release juices.
4.
Reduce to medium low and simmer for about 15 minutes or until apples are tender.
