Receta Fried Potatoes
Hearty, filling, and delicious. This simple meal is favored in our house, and always welcome on a cold Alaskan night.
Ingredientes
- About 3 pounds potatoes, diced, blanched, and well drained
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced as thick as you like it
- 1 large onion, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste (we are heavy handed with the pepper)
- a touch of oil (though we sometimes use butter)
Direcciones
- Heat oil in skillet (preferably cast iron) on medium.
- Add all remaining ingredients.
- Fry (stirring occasionally) until potatoes are tender.
- Cook time varies depending on heat of skillet and preference for tenderness of potatoes. I usually give it a little longer in order to get a crispy edge.
