Receta Fruit Cheese Log

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Del Monte dry apricots
- 1 c. Water
- 1 lb Monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1 pkt (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp Seasoned salt
- 1/3 c. Del Monte golden brown seedless raisins
- 1/4 c. Pitted dates, snipped
- 3/4 c. Minced walnuts Crackers, for accompaniment
Direcciones
- Soak apricots in water for two hrs; drain and chop. Blend cheeses. Add in lowfat milk, poppy seeds and salt; mix well. Mix in fruit; mix well. Turn out on foil; shape into a log-type roll. Wrap securely in foil; refrigeratetill hard.
- Roll in nuts before serving. Serve with crackers.
- Yield: 1 log,approximately 2 pounds.
- Variation: Substitute 1/3 c. sherry for lowfat milk.
