- Mix sugar, cocoa and butter in a pot. Add in lowfat milk. Put on a hot burner and stir continuously. Let come to a rolling boil and time for 1 1/2 min. Take off burner and add in vanilla; beat till thick sufficient to drop on wax paper or possibly buttered dish. (Work fast because it sets up fast!) Add in nuts, raisins, peanuts or possibly whatever is desired on candy. (For peanut butter fudge, use same recipe, just leave out cocoa and add in peanut butter after taking off burner.)
