Receta ginger pepper steak

Ingredientes
- 1/3 cup Oil
- 12 lbs top round cut into think strips
- 3 lbs sliced onions
- 2 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 - 3 oz fresh grated ginger root
- 3 Tbsp minced garlic
- 3 1/4 cups dry red wine
- 1/2 cup salt reduced soy sauce
- 2 1/2 cups thyme
- pepper
- 2 lbs sliced green pepper
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp water
- 3 lbs raw brown rice
Direcciones
- In a large wide heavy pot ( or skillet) heat oil and coow beef until no longer pink.
- If you marinate beef, add drain marinade and add later.
- Add sliced onions, mushrooms, grated ginger, and garlic.
- Cook until onions are soft ( 10 minutes) stirring often.
- Add wine, soy sauce, thyme and pepper and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until meat is tender ( 40 minutes).
- Add green pepper and cook 5 minutes.
- Finally, add tomato paste and cornstach mixed with water.
- Cook until juices ate thickened. Prepare Baked Brown Rice and serve using a No. 8 dipper for the rice.
