Receta Glazed Apple Pie Slices

Ingredientes
- 2 double pie crust recipes
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. corn flake crumbs
- 10 c. peeled and thinly sliced apples
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 - 2 tbsp. water
Direcciones
- Roll 1/2 of pie crust into 15 x 12 inch rectangle. Place in 15 x 10 inch pan. Sprinkle corn flakes over dough. Toss apples with lemon juice, layer over dough. Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt. Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Roll remaining dough into 15 x 12 inch rectangle and place on top of apples. Prick crust with fork. Brush top crust with egg. Bake for 60 to 65 min till golden brown. Combine powdered sugar and water and beat till smooth. Drizzle on hot pastry. Cold completely. Cut into 48 bars.
