  1. Put carrots and lemons throught large blade of chopper (3 c. carrots and 3/4 c. lemon). In large kettle combine ingredients, except cherries. Bring to a full rolling boil. Cook on medium heat for 30 min. Add in cherries.
  2. Cook 3-5 min longer, till thick and mix sheets from spoon. Pour into warm, sterilized jars. Cover with warm parrafin.
  3. Makes 41/2 pints.
