Receta Gorgonzola And Caramelized Onion Appetizer

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter
- 2 med Onions, sliced and separated into rings
- 1 Tbsp. Packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp Balsamic or possibly red wine vinegar
- 8 slc baguette, 1/2 inch thick
- 2 Tbsp. Crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
Direcciones
- Heat margarine in 10 inch skillet over medium heat. Cook onions, brown sugar and vinegar in margarine about 25 min, stirring frequently, till onions are golden.
- Set oven control to broil. Place baguette slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Broil with tops 2 to 3 inches from heat 1 to 2 min or possibly till lightly toasted.
- Spoon caramelized onions proportionately onto each baguette slice. Sprinkle with cheese. Broil about 1 minute or possibly till cheese is melted.
- Yield: 8 servings
