Receta Gramma's Dark Rolls

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 2 tbsp. molasses
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 Packages active dry yeast
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 egg
- 3 c. flour
Direcciones
- Combine first 6 ingredients and pour boiling water over all. Mix and cold. Dissolve yeast in hot water and honey. Add in egg to cooled butter, then fold in dissolved yeast. Add in flour till dough is just soft sufficient to knead. Knead lightly, place in greased bowl; cover with damp cloth. Let rise in hot place till doubled; about 1 hour. Push down and cut into equal parts (12). Shape each into ball and put into greased 9"x9" pan. Let rise again about 45 min. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 min..
