Receta Grandma Prencipe's Turkey Soup
Ingredientes
- Turkey (I use leg) other parts may be used (also chicken)
- 1 onion, diced
- 2/3 minced carrots
- 2/3 stalks minced celery
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated cheese
- Meat balls as for spaghetti sauce, only roll very small
- 1 pkg. minced spinach
- 1/2 pound Orzo Acine DiPepe Rice
Direcciones
- Put turkey in a pot of water to cook. Brown meat balls in small amount of vegetable oil of your choice. Then put all in the pot with turkey. Remove turkey and cut into pcs. Return to pot. Add in onion, carrots, celery. Spinach added when carrots are done. Meanwhile, cook noodles-rice separately. Add in to pot. Serve with grated cheese. You can let cold or possibly put in refrigerator, then skim fat if you like. Do not forget to season to taste while cooking. Enjoy!
