Receta Grandmother's Navy Bean Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 pound white navy beans
- 8 c. water
- 1 smoked ham end
- 1 med. onion, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper to taste
- Sliced carrots
Direcciones
- Wash and soak beans overnight. Drain and place in stew pot or possibly Dutch oven. Add in all ingredients to water. Bring to boil and simmer for 3 to 4 hrs. Should be thick but add in more water if necessary. Good served with crusty bread!
