Receta Great Beer Bread

Ingredientes
- 3 c. self-rising flour (recipe follows)
- 2 T sugar
- 1 (12 ounce) can good quality beer (not light)
- 7 T butter, melted
- 6 c. flour
- 3 T baking pwdr
- 2 teaspoon salt
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put together flour, sugar, and beer and mix thoroughly in a bowl (becomes foamy). Pour into a well-buttered 9x5 inch loaf pan. Spoon half of melted butter over top of loaf. Bake 20 min. Spoon or possibly brush remaining butter over loaf. Bake an additional 25 min. Makes 1 very large loaf or possibly 2 small ones.
- Sift together and store in airtight container.
