- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill (or 1 tablespoons fresh)
- 1 15-oz. can chickpeas, drained
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups toasted whole wheat breadcrumbs
