Receta Green Peppers Stuffed With Shrimp

Ingredientes
- 3 onions, minced
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1/4 pound butter
- 2 lbs. peeled, raw shrimp
- 3 1/2 c. dry French bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 6 green peppers, halved, seeded & scalded
- 2 tbsp. butter
Direcciones
- Saute/fry onions, celery, minced pepper and garlic in butter till wilted. Add in shrimp, stirring only to mix. Cover and cook very slowly for 15 min. Reserve 1/2 c. bread crumbs, adding remainder to seafood mix. Add in up to 1/2 c. water if necessary. Season to taste. Stuff into pepper shells and sprinkle with reserved bread crumbs. Dot with additional butter and bake at 300 degrees for 15 min.
