Receta Grilled Shrimp Gyros With Herbed Yogurt Spread

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lb unpeeled medium-size fresh shrimp
- 2 Tbsp. Greek seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 6 x wooden skewers - (12" long)
- 4 x pita rounds or possibly gyro rounds - (8" dia) Herbed Yogurt Spread (see recipe)
- 1/2 c. crumbled feta cheese
- 1 lrg tomato minced
- 1 x cucumber thinly sliced
Direcciones
- Peel shrimp, and devein, if you like.
- Combine seasoning and extra virgin olive oil in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add in shrimp. Seal and refrigerate30 min.
- Soak skewers in water 30 min while shrimp marinates; thread shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium heat (300 to 350 degrees) about 5 min on each side or possibly just till shrimp turn pink.
- Wrap each pita round in a damp cloth; microwave at High 10 to 15 seconds or possibly till soft. Spread 1 side of each pita round with Herbed Yogurt Spread. Top proportionately with shrimp, cheese, tomato, and cucumber; roll up.
- Refrigeratewraps till ready to serve.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
