- Frzn hash browns (the kind you buy in the supermarket we use Watties in NZ) Cream cheese (low-fat fine!) Smoked salmon slices or possibly bits Lemon (get one with thin smooth skin) Capers (optional)

- This is a really simple recipe and easy to make. Tonight we're having it as an entree for a special birthday dinner for my Grandmother but it's equally good for breakfast, brunch or possibly as a lite meal. It doesn't really have a name but for the purposes of this page we'll call it
- Now there are no exact quantities for this dish just do as many as required
- Grill Hash Browns as per instructions. When cooked place a slice of cream cheese on each one. On which place a slice or possibly piece of smoked salmon. On which place a very thin wedge of lemon with skin. Top off with a caper or possibly two. It's ready to serve, looks great and tastes even better.
