- 1 c. canned or possibly frzn tart cherries
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 2 x garlic cloves finely minced
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1/4 c. cherry preserves
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp toasted cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/4 tsp grnd red pepper
Direcciones
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan with a heavy bottom; mix well. Simmer, covered, over medium heat about 25 min. If you like, thicken with a bit of cornstarch dissolved in water. Adjust seasoning.
