Receta Healthy Snack Bars

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Dry Fruit -- minced
- 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Shortening
- 1 x Egg -- slightly beaten
- 1 c. Nuts -- minced
- 1/2 c. Brown Sugar -- packed
- 1/2 c. Whole Wheat Flour
- 4 Tbsp. Wheat Bran
- 4 Tbsp. Wheat Germ -- toasted
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp. Vegetable Shortening
- 4 Tbsp. Brown Sugar -- packed
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 2 Tbsp. Molasses
- 1 x Egg -- slightly beaten
- 2 c. Quick-cooking Oats
- 4 Tbsp. Whole Wheat Flour

- Topping: In a large bowl, combine minced dry fruit, shortening, and 2/3 c. boiling water; let stand for 5 min. Add in remaining ingredients and combine. Set aside.
- Crust: In another large bowl, combine shortening, sugar, honey, molasses, and egg together, then add in oats and flour till well combined. Using a fork, press into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan that has been prepared with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees F for 5 min.
- After removing crust from oven, spread fruit mix proportionately over the top and bake an additional 25 to 30 min. Remove from oven, and cold completely, then cut into bars.
