  • 6 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. Hearty Beef Soup Mix
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1-2 ribs celery, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 30 ounce. beef broth (canned or possibly bouillon)
  • 24 ounce. can vegetable juice
  • 1 pound leftover, cooked meat, cut up

Direcciones

  1. Or possibly 1 lb. grnd beef, browned.
  2. Put water, salt and soup fold in a large kettle; bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hrs. Add in remaining ingredients. Simmer till vegetables are cooked and done. Makes about 4 qts. Freezes well.
