  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs. lean grnd beef
  • 1-2 tbsp. veg. oil
  • 1 tbsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 can beef bouillon
  • 1 c. frzn minced onions
  • 1/4 c. raw rice
  • 1 (20 ounce.) bag frzn mixed vegetables
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can tomato sauce with tomato bits
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can stewed seasoned tomatoes

Direcciones

  1. Brown beef and the onions together in skillet; drain fat. In large kettle, start cooking broth and rice. Add in seasonings and water equal to the amount of broth; add in beef. Bring to boil and cover and simmer gently for 1 hour. Add in vegetables, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring to boil and then simmer for 10 min.
