Receta Hill Country Fried Steak

Ingredientes
- 2 lb Round steak
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper, or possibly to taste
- 1/2 c. Vegetable oil
- 4 Tbsp. Pan drippings
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper, or possibly to taste
Direcciones
- Steak: Lb. steak and cut into 8 pcs. Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat steaks on both sides. In a heavy skillet heat oil and saute/fry stgeaks 5 min on each side. Keep hot while making gravy.
- Pan Gravy: Pour off all but 4 Tbsp. of pan drippings. Blend in flour, stirring constantly till bubbly. Stir in lowfat milk, salt and pepper. Continue cooking and stirring, scraping cooked-on juices from bottom and sides of skillet , till gravy thickens and bubbles for 1 minute.
