Receta Holiday Applesauce Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 c. seedless raisins
- 2 tbsp. brandy or possibly apple juice
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 c. minced walnuts
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 (8 1/2 ounce.) can applesauce
Direcciones
- Soak raisins in brandy or possibly apple juice. Cream shortening and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in egg. Add in raisins and nuts; mix well. Sift together dry ingredients. Add in alternately with applesauce, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour into greased and floured Bundt or possibly tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 min or possibly till tests done. Turn out on rack and cold completely. Wrap tightly in foil to store. Store in cold place. Just before serving, drizzle melted apple or possibly currant jelly over top.
