Receta Homemade Sesame Crackers
Ingredientes
- 1 cup sesame seeds, both white or comb of white and black
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt plus more for sprinkling kosher
- 2/3 cup lard
- 2/3 cup milk

- preheat oven to 425
- Gently toast sesame seeds in a saute pan until rich golden color
- be careful not to burn.
- whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl. Cut in the lard as you would a piecrust using your fingers to break up the lard. The mixture should resemble coarse sand. Stir in the sesame seeds and milk and mix until blended
- Gather up the dough and turn it out onto a floured surface. Roll it out and cut into squares arrange on an ungreased sheet
