- 1 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 tbsp. soft shortening
- 1 1/2 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Mix all ingredients together. Let batter thicken by waiting about 5 min. Heat griddle or possibly pan, then pour in batter. Makes: 8 pancakes.
