Receta Honey Pecan Granola with Currents
I love homemade granola. This is a great base recipe that you can change to fit your tastes.

Ingredientes
- 3 c oatmeal, roll cut
- 1 1/2 c pecans, chopped
- 1/3 c honey
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter (if you use salted, just leave out the salt)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 handfuls dried currents
Direcciones
- Melt the butter in a large bowl.
- Stir in the honey, oats, pecans and salt.
- Spread the mixture in an even layer on a well greased jelly roll pan or cookie sheet.
- In a 300 degree oven, cook until the oats are golden and crunchy. About 45 minutes, making sure to stir every 15 minutes.
- Once the granola has cooked slightly, return to the bowl and stir in the currents.
- Eat the whole bowl!
