Receta Iced Basil Tea ( Tulsi Ka Sherbert )

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. indian tea leaves
- 600 ml water
- 2 tsp dry Holy basil leaves sugar to taste
- 2 tsp lemon juice crushed ice
- 4 x lemon slices to garnish
Direcciones
- Make the tea by adding the tea leaves to boiling water.
- Drop in the Holy basil and remove from the heat.
- Allow to cold then strain.
- Mix the tea infusion sugar and lemon juice Serve in tall glasses over lots of crushed ice.
- Garnish with lemon slices and a fresh Holy basil leaf if available.
- Here is an unusual drink to enjoy on balmy summer evenings. Served in a tall frosted glass over nibs of crushed ice this makes a really special change from the more common iced tea. Iced basil tea tastes even better with fresh Holy basil leaves but the dry ones are definitely more handy.
