- 1/2 c. lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. simple syrup - (to 3) see * Note
- 3/4 c. club soda
- 1/8 tsp black salt - (to 1/4) (can be found at Indian markets)

- * Note: To make simple syrup, combine equal parts water and sugar in a saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring, till most of the sugar is dissolved. Simple syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for several months.
- Combine the lime juice, simple syrup and club soda. Stir in a dash of Indian black salt, just sufficient to give an edge to the drink. Serve in iced tea glasses over ice.
