Receta Irish Lamb Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 x Onion, coarsely minced
- 3/4 lb Boneless lamb shoulder, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
- 3/4 c. Beer
- 1/2 tsp Seasoned pepper
- 1 3/4 c. Beef stock
- 1/2 pkt Brown gravy mix
- 1 1/2 c. Potatoes, cubed
- 1 c. Carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 c. Green cabbage, shredded
Direcciones
- Prep: 10 minutes, Cook: 55 minutes.
- Heat oil in a nonreactive saucepan over medium high heat. Saute/fry onion 4-5 min till golden brown. Add in lamb and saute/fry 4-5 min, stirring, till browned. Add in beer and pepper. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 min. Stir in stock and gravy mix. Add in potatoes and carrots, cover and simmer 15 min or possibly till vegetables are tender. Stir in cabbage and cook 3 min, just till cabbage turns bright green.
