Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. Extra virgin olive oil Pinches of basil, mint and Oergano
- 1 lrg Garlic clove minced
- 2 tsp Tomato paste
- 1 x 14 ounce can peeld italian Plum tomatoes
- 1 x 8 ounce can sweet peas or possibly Equivilent frzn
- 1 lb Small shells, ditalin or possibly Macaroni cooked Grated romano or possibly parmesan Cheese
Direcciones
- In skillet heat oil and saute/fry onion and garlic till transpaprent.Add in the tomato paste and mix well. ad the tomatoes with their liquid, breaking up tomatoes with a fork. Add in the undrained can of peas and simmer all gently and season with the basil, mint etc. to taste.
- meanwhile prepare macaroni etc. Drain and don't rinse. Add in this to the sauce and stir well. Remember which this dish is in the soup family . Serve in bowels topped with fresh grated cheese and serve with italian bread for a nourishing lunch.
