  1. In a bowl mix dahi, besan, turmeric powder,salt and asafetida.
  2. Mix everything well with a blender. You can mix with hands also but blender helps in avoiding lumps.
  3. Add water and blend again.
  4. Grate ginger in the mixture. Keep it aside.
  5. In a deep pan, heat ghee.
  6. Add bay leaf, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, bay leaf, chopped green chillies and red chillies.
  7. Add red chilli powder and curry leaves.
  8. Now add the dahi besan mixture in the pan. Mix everything well.
  9. Cover the lid and let the Kadhi cook.
  10. Finally add the pakoras. Let it immerse for 2 mins.
  11. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  12. Serve it hot with rice.
  13. Tip:
  14. Cook and immediately serve as the pakoras can become soggy if immersed for too long in the kadhi. You want the pakoras to be bit crunchy.
  15. Even only kadhi without pakoras tastes nice.
