Receta Kiwi Fruit Onion Chutney

Ingredientes
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/8 tsp grnd red pepper
- 1 c. cooking apple peeled, cored, minced
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced sweet onion
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/4 x lemon thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 c. kiwi fruit peeled and minced
Direcciones
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook over low heat till mix is reduced to 1 c.. Add in apple and next 3 ingredients; cook 10 min. Stir in kiwifruit; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; cold. Cover and chill. Serve with poultry, pork, or possibly ham.
- 2 1/2 c.
- Note: To serve as an appetizer, process 3/4 c. of the chutney in container of an electric blender or possibly food processor; pour over 8 ounce softened cream cheese, and serve with crackers.
