  • 1 env active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 c. Hot water
  • 3 c. Unbleached flour
  • 1 c. Whole-wheat flour
  • 1/4 c. Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 x Egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Finely chopped garlic Topping (recipe follows) Chopped chives

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle yeast over hot water and let stand till bubbly. Meanwhile, combine flours, cheese, egg, oil and garlic into food processor bowl. Add in yeast mix and process just till dough forms a ball. Turn out onto floured surface and knead till dough is Preheat oven to 400 F. Press dough into bottom and up sides of greased 9x13-inch pan, forming rim around edge.
  2. Crimp edge. Spread topping proportionately over dough and sprinkle with chopped chives. Bake for 30 min, till edges are browned and topping is light
  3. TOPPING: Peel and mince 10 to 12 garlic cloves. Saute/fry 3 to 5 min in 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil over low heat till soft but not browned. Remove from heat and cold slightly then combine with 1 c. lowfat sour cream, 2 lightly beaten Large eggs and 1/2 tsp. salt.
