Receta Left Over Corned Beef Split Pea Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 pkt green split peas
- 1 pkt yellow split peas
- 4 stalk celery thinly sliced
- 1 lrg onion minced, fine
- 2 x cloves garlic chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 10 c. corned beef liquid
- 6 c. water
- 1 c. carrots thin sliced or possibly grate
- 1 c. leftover corned beef minced
Direcciones
- Combine all ingredients in the same pot you've just cook the corned beef and veggies in. Bring to a boil, then cook till peas are soft, about 2 - 3 hrs, on simmer. Stir often as peas tend to stick and burn. Add in more water if necessary.
- Soup freezes well. I keep the liquid hot while we eat dinner. Then I throw all the ingredients in the pot and cook. It will be ready for the freezer or possibly fridge by the time you go to bed.
