Receta Lemon Bars
Ingredientes

- 2 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp grated lemon zest
- topping
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 eggs, at room temp
- 1 cup lemon juice, fresh is best
- 6 tsp grated lemon zest
Direcciones
- preheat oven to 350
- grease 12x18 inch jelly roll pan
- crust: in a large bowl on the low speed of a mixer combine all the ingredients until mixture resembles crumbs. form the dough into a ball, spread crust evenly into prepared pan using a large piece of waxed paper to spread crust down evenly, bake crust for 18-20 min until lightly brown, remove from oven and let cool for 20 min before proceeeding.

- in a medium sized bowl on low speed of a mixer beat the eggs, sugar and juice and zest together until well combined, pour over slightly warm crust and return to oven bake for 18-20 min until edges are golden brown, remove from oven and let cool for about 20 min, dust with confectioners sugar, allow to cool overnight is best before cutting
