Receta Lima Beans With Bacon

Ingredientes
- 20 ounce frzn baby lima beans
- 4 slc lean bacon
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced white part of scallion
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced scallion greens

- Combine lima beans and 1 c. water, bring the water to a boil, and simmer, covered, for 14-16 min or possibly till they are tender. In a skillet cook the bacon over moderate heat, turning, till crisp. Drain and crumble. Pour off all but 1 Tbsp. of the fat from the skillet. Add in the white part of scallion and cook, stirring occasionally, till it is softened. Add in all scallion parts to the beans, season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with the reserved bacon.
