  • 4 Tbsp. shortening liquid
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 3/4 c. Malt-o-Meal
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp baking pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients just till moistened; Don't overmix. Fill muffin c. 3/4 full. Bake in preheated 400-degree oven for 20 min.
  2. Variations: Add in about 2 Tbsp. of peanut butter, and/or possibly minced dry apricots, minced prunes, or possibly dates. I also have added 1-2 Tbsp. wheat germ.
  3. Serving Ideas : For a healthy breakfast, have a muffin and lowfat milk or possibly juice.
