Ingredientes
- 1 x egg beaten
- 4 Tbsp. shortening liquid
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. Malt-o-Meal
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 tsp baking pwdr
Direcciones
- Mix all ingredients just till moistened; Don't overmix. Fill muffin c. 3/4 full. Bake in preheated 400-degree oven for 20 min.
- Variations: Add in about 2 Tbsp. of peanut butter, and/or possibly minced dry apricots, minced prunes, or possibly dates. I also have added 1-2 Tbsp. wheat germ.
- Serving Ideas : For a healthy breakfast, have a muffin and lowfat milk or possibly juice.
