Receta Madeline's "Comfort" Corn Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/4 pound butter (or possibly butter)
Direcciones
- Heat butter in 9x12 inch baking pan. Set aside. In large bowl place cornmeal, flour, salt, baking pwdr and sugar. Add in the Large eggs (slightly beaten) to the dry ingredients and use hands to fold in till you get a crumbly texture. Add in buttermilk and soda. Stir well. Add in melted butter. Stir till mixed. Bake 400 degrees, 20-25 min. This is very moist and "custardty".
