Receta Makhani Paneer Biryani
Ingredientes
- For the Rice Layer:
- Basmati Rice - 1cup
- Bay Leaf - 1
- Cardamom pods - 3
- Cloves - 3
- Cinnamon stick - 1" piece
- Water - 1½cups
- Salt - to taste
- For the Makhani Paneer Layer:
- Paneer - 1cup, cubed
- Onion - 1 medium, chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1tsp
- Tomato puree - 1cup
- Cardamom pods - 3
- Cloves - 3
- Mace - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1" piece
- Ground Cumin - ½tsp
- Ground Coriander - ½tsp
- Tandoori Masala - 1tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½tsp
- Almond/ Cashew paste - 2tbsp (soak either of the nuts and then grind to a smooth paste. I used almond butter instead)
- Cream/ Whole Milk - ¼cup
- Salt - to taste
- For Garnish:
- Almonds/ Cashews - 2tbsp each, roasted and chopped
- Cilantro - ¼cup, chopped
- Mint - ¼cup, chopped
- Fried Onions - ½cup
