Receta Mandarin Orange Lettuce Salad
Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
- 3 tbsp. sugar
Direcciones
- In small pan over medium heat, mix the above together. Stir constantly till light brown. Remove from heat and continue stirring to prevent sticking together. Chill when cold.
- Shred 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, 1/2 head Romaine lettuce (or possibly leaf lettuce). Add in 1 c. minced celery, 2 whole green onions, minced. Mix together. Cover with plastic wrap and chill.
- When ready to serve, toss salad with almonds and sugar and 1 (11 ounce.) can mandarin oranges, liquid removed. Pour dressing over just before serving.
