Receta Marian's Daffodil Cake (Chiffon)

Ingredientes
- 12 egg yolks (left over from angel food cake)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon lemon flavor
Direcciones
- Beat egg yolks till very thick and lemon colored. Add in sugar in small amounts and keep beating. Add in boiling water and beat 30 seconds, add in sifted dry ingredients gradually, then add in flavorings, beat all well (about 5 min). Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour in an ungreased 10" or possibly 12" angel food pan. Cool upside down before removing. This is a great party cake, as you can serve it plain or possibly with whipped cream, berries, or possibly whatever.
