  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 (29 ounce.) can tomato puree
  • 1 (29 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 cans water
  • 1/2 c. fresh minced parsley
  • 3 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Direcciones

  1. In large 5 qt pan, brown onion and garlic in oil. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat at least 2 hrs. Stir often and skim off grease as you go.
  2. Mix grnd beef, Large eggs, 1/2 c. parsley, 1 clove chopped garlic, bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper. Form into 1 1/2" meatballs. Brown in 1/3 c. salad oil. Add in to sauce and simmer at least 2 hrs. Serve with pasta.
