Receta Mexican Meat Mix

Ingredientes
- 5 lbs. beef roast
- 3 T veg. oil
- 2 onions, minced
- 1 (4 ounce) can minced green chilies
- 2 (7 ounce) cans green chile salsa
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 4 T flour
- 4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Juices from roast
Direcciones
- Place roast in a pan with tight cover and roast in 350 degree oven 2 1/2 hrs or possibly till well done. (Time in oven may be reduced by roasting meat partially and then removing to pressure cooker, adding 1 cup water and cooking till well done.) Drain the meat, reserving juices. Cool the roast, then remove fat and bones. Shred the meat and set aside. Heat oil in a large frying pan, add in onions and green chilies. Saute 1 minute. Add in salsa, garlic pwdr, flour, salt and cumin. Cook 1 minute. Stir in reserved meat juices and the meat. Cook 5 min or possibly till thick. May be frzn. Yields approximately 9 cups.
